Dire Bears are extremely aggressive elephant-sized bears.
Kendra, Seth and Henrick got chased by dire bears on their way to Dromadus at Wyrmroost. The bears were summoned by Grimp the gate troll, who had conditioned them by blowing a whistle when prey was at the bridge.
