The Translocator is one of the five artifacts that open Zzyzx, the demon prison. This artifact has the power over space and can transport up to three individuals and their belongings to any place they have visited previously. The Translocator consists of a platinum cylinder set with jewels and embossed with various symbols. The cylinder is divided into three rotating sections. To activate the Translocator, the user twists the section to bring the jewels into alignment. Each traveler then grips a different section, and the one who holds the center section controls the destination as he or she focuses on the desired location when the sections slide into place. It was found at the preserve, Obsidian Waste.
