A gargoyle is a large, winged creature with razor-sharp claws and horns of various shapes and sizes. They are formidable foes in combat.[3]

Defending Bahumat[]
Four gargoyles with ram-like horns tried to intercept the fairy army sent to contain the demon Bahumat. They clawed at their opponents, but the fairies evaded them and slashed off their wings, sending the gargoyles hurtling to the ground.[1]
Ambush at the hotel[]
When Kendra, Seth, and Ruth Sorenson, Warren Burgess, and Tanu spent Midsummer Eve at a hotel, a muscular gargoyle, along with a goblin and a large wolf, ambushed them, wielding a trident. It was shot and killed by Ruth using a crossbow.[2]
