Grady is a selkie, meaning his natural form is a seal. In his human form he’s a young redhead with freckly shoulders and a white coral necklace. He was caught stealing from a village and had to work to get his sealskin back, which would allow him to transform into his natural form. While in his seal form, Grady will radically change personality, more relying on his instincts.

Master of the Phantom Isle

When Kendra, Knox, Tess, Tanu, Warren, Vanessa, Calvin, Newel, and Doren arrived at the Crescent Lagoon sanctuary, Grady was there to greet them, in human form.

Later, he helped Kendra reach the Under Realm, paddling the canoe along with Faro of the merfolk. When they arrived at the Phantom Isle, Grady received his sealskin back, as payment, but before rejoining his community, he retrieved the Fairy Queen’s crown that Kendra had accidentally lost and gave it to her.
