Ogres are typically big and clumsy, though smaller than Giants. They are extremely ugly, aggressive, and territorial.
In Fablehaven, Kendra and Seth unknowingly steal stew from an Ogresses lair and gets chasen but the Satyrs Newel and Doren saves them.
In Dragonwatch, Seth gets chased by the Ogre Mung after sending in Knox to retrieve some lost treasure, but due to the treaty, the Ogre is able to hunt Seth for 24 hours if he doesn't yield. Hugo saves Seth through making the ogre yield. He and Kendra also learns that Dromadus, the former Dragon King, gets his Meals from Terrabelle delivered by Ogres.
