The Sword of Tregain is a short, durable, and extremely keen magical sword. It tends to push attention away from itself when it is unsheathed, and the effect increases with the size of the attacking creature. Additionally, in great need and at the price of the blade, with the phrase 'sharpness begone', the blade will become a bolt of lightning, leaving only the hilt.
History[]
The blade was crafted by master smiths with the help of the wizard Egar. One of the three brothers of Stormguard Castle, Tregain, used it as a boy.
Wrath of the Dragon King[]
It is one of the weapons kept by Grippa at Blackwell Keep, and was lent to Seth Sorenson as preparation for the Feast of Welcome.
