Vatka, or Lowly Vatka, was a fairly powerful hag who spoke for the Sludgeholes, a marshy region at the dragon sanctuary of Wyrmroost. Her philosophy was that the leader should be the servant of all, hence the "lowly" title.[1] She also had the power to transform into a large raven and also hinted at being able to assume the form of other creatures.[2]
Biography
Dragon uprising
During the dragon uprising, Vatka received an invitation to the Feast of Welcome at Skyhold. She traveled there in the form of a raven, before transforming into her true form of an old woman as she arrived. She briefly conversed with the new caretakers, Kendra and Seth Sorenson, whom she expressed little faith in. After Celebrant, the Dragon King, declared war on the caretakers of Blackwell Keep, it is unknown whether the sludgefolk sided with the dragons or the organization of Dragonwatch.
